Dofollow Nofollow Difference
Dofollow Nofollow Difference

The basic difference between dofollow and nofollow link is the ability to pass on page rank point. Page that dofollow will give point to page that was referred, but nofollow page is not.

Example Of Difference Dofollow And Nofollow

To see this difference yo need to install nodofollow plugin on your firefox.
Now look both link below:
1. How To Get Backlink
2. How To Get Backlink

Both looked same, but if you activate nodofollow plugin on firefox, then it will looked different. Dofollow is blue color, nofollow is red color.

DOFOLLOW HTML will looked like this:

<a href="http://seobloggertricks.blogspot.com/2013/12/how-to-get-backlink.html" target="_blank">How To Get Backlink</a>

NOFOLLOW HTML will looked like below:

<a href="http://seobloggertricks.blogspot.com/2013/12/how-to-get-backlink.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">How To Get Backlink</a>

The difference is on red code; rel="nofollow"

So when you hunting backlink and find red color link, it means the link is nofollow. That is template setting from the website / blog owner...you can't change it become dofollow.

If you are web / blog owner, by understanding difference between dofollow and nofollow will help you choose what's the best for your website / blog.
